Alexander Kumps is a professional Belgian rider, who has grown up alongside horses. With a vast amount of experience under his belt, Alex has made it to three CH/J/Y European Championships, qualifying twice for the final round and finishing with a very high individual 4th place in 2012. Besides having natural talent in six bar classes, which he has won four times, Alex has also placed first in CSI5*/2* class in Mechelen and been placed numerous times in up to 4* Grand Prix’s.

In addition to competing, he has played part in the success stories of many horses, who have made it to top sport later in life. One of them, for example, was Sanctos van het Gravenhof, now known as Hello Sanctos. At the moment, Alex has his focus on both training and competing with horses on all levels as well as giving valuable tips to and helping Margareth with her riding career.
